Usage by VLSI members is generally available under the same conditions as for staff and students of the faculties of physics and chemistry of the University of Vienna, but may be limited by the available training and instrument capacity. Access to certain instruments will only be possible via a scientific cooperation agreement because of the large amount of assistance necessary. You can find a complete list of the terms of use on the homepage of the Faculty Center for Nano Structure Research.

SERVICES:

  • Evaluation of your measurement plan.
  • Discussion and advice on sample preparation
  • Instrument training sessions, which are mandatory for the independent use of the respective instrument
  • Discussion and advice on the data evaluation.

Disclaimer: We are NOT offering any “hand in the sample, have it measured and the data evaluated”-service.
